Twice each year, the Airports Council International-North American (ACI-NA) offers $2,500 through the Commissioners Scholarship Fund for up to three students pursuing a business degree concentrated in operations management to work towards a career in airport operations and management. Eligible applicants must be officially enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, have completed at least one college semester successfully, reside in the United States or Canada, and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. An official transcript, two letters of recommendation, a current resume, and a 500-word personal statement must accompany the scholarship’s Form 101-06 application.

2. Chad Jones Memorial Scholarship Program
Deadline: March 22nd
Through the Alabama Institute for Supply Management (ISM), the Chad Jones Memorial Scholarship Program grants up to $1,000 annually to reduce tuition costs for currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree related to supply chain and operations management, inventory control, materials management, or procurement. Applicants must be chapter members, exhibit financial need, have a minimum overall GPA of 3.0, and submit a letter of recommendation from their university dean. Funding is also available for individuals seeking to attend an ISM-approved seminar or the ISM Annual International Conference in pursuit of CPSM or CSM certification.

3. CSCMP Future Supply Chain Star Scholarship

In collaboration with the Materials Handling & Management Society (MHMS), the Chicago Roundtable of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) awards the Future Supply Chain Star Scholarship annually for up to $2,000 to students enrolled at colleges or universities in the Chicago area to pursue a career in the supply chain management or logistics industry. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, submit a personal portfolio, and write a 750-word essay outlining their career goals in today’s supply chain community. With the tuition support, recipients will receive a one-year CSCMP membership and free attendance at the CSCMP Chicago Annual Conference with hotel arrangements.

4. David R. Parsley Endowed Scholarship Fund

In honor of the senior vice president of supply chain management at Brinker International Inc. and former chairman of the Supply Chain Management Executive Study Group, the David R. Parsley Endowed Scholarship Fund was created by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF). Ranging in value from $1,750 to $10,000 apiece, the fund offers merit-based scholarships for students pursuing an accredited undergraduate degree in supply chain management for a career in the restaurant, food service, and/or hospitality industry. Named in honor of the former Executive Directors Robert Davis and Abate Kassa, the Davis-Kassa Scholarship Program is funded through the New York Institute of Supply Management (ISM) to provide $4,000 awards to cover tuition expenses incurred while pursuing an academic degree in supply chain management at an accredited college. Established in 2012 by the Material Handling Education Foundation (MHEFI) to honor an innovative leader who dedicated his 60-year career to the material handling business, the Howard Bernstein Industrial Distribution Scholarship is granted for up to $5,000 annually. 8. ISM Pharmaceutical Forum Supply Chain Management Scholarship

With the goal of preparing a new generation of business graduates to meet future challenges in supply chain management, the ISM’s Pharmaceutical Forum has endowed a Supply Chain Management Scholarship to grant $1,000 to undergraduate students pursuing a career in procurement through a major in supply chain management. Each year, the ISM-Pittsburgh chapter’s Board of Directors allocates funds to provide $2,500 scholarships for financially needy students at Duquesne University who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in the supply chain management program. Qualified applicants must have completed at least one semester, be enrolled at Duquesne full-time, submit two letters of recommendation, write a 750-word essay describing their career goals, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, and possess a minimum SAT score of 900. 10. James Greathouse APICS Certification Professional Scholarship

Through the Association for Operations Management, the James Greathouse APICS Certification Professional Scholarship is available for graduate students seeking to fulfill the education needed to gain the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) credentials. To qualify for a voucher that covers all APICS courses and exams, applicants must be members in good standing, provide a letter of support, and have a minimum of five years of experience in operations or supply chain management. 11. John J. Murphy Supply Chain Scholarships

In memory of a long-standing member of the Food Shippers of America who was an ambassador for the food transportation industry for 40 years, the John J. Murphy Supply Chain Scholarships are awarded annually for between $1,000 and $5,000 apiece to qualified students majoring in supply chain management or logistics. Applicants must be the child of a Supply Chain Logistics department employee of a member company, be enrolled full-time in an accredited college program, and have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better. Sponsored by the American Society of Transportation and Logistics (AST&L), the L.L. Walters Scholarship Program is presented annually for $2,000 to encourage upper-division undergraduate and graduate students to concentrate their education in supply chain management, logistics, physical distribution, or transportation management. 13. National Defense Transportation Association Scholarships

Annually, the National Defense Transportation Association offers three scholarship programs for graduating high school seniors, college students, and distance learning students who are seeking to achieve their academic goals in logistics, transportation, supply chain and operations management, physical distribution, or passenger travel services. In partnership with the R. Gene and Nancy D. Richter Foundation, the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) created the R. Gene Richter Scholarship Program in 2005 to give $5,000 to senior-level undergraduates enrolled full-time in an accredited supply management, supply chain and operations management, or procurement program. To compete in the field’s largest national scholarship program, applicants must be U.S. citizens, attain high academic achievement, demonstrate strong leadership ability, have high ethical standards, and have a firm commitment to a career specialized in supply management.
